The Flashstreamworks FLVPlayer is a Windows software player that allows you to play FLV
files locally. It is free to use. (see license agreement)
The current release (1.0.3) comes with an installer and file association,
it's about 0.5 MB in filesize.

Q:
Does it support FLV1.0 and/or FLV1.1 files?
A: The player supports both versions.
Q:
How can I view and/or repair the file information or MetaData?
A: Press the i button, you'll be able to repair the MetaData when viewing FLV1.0 files.
Q:
How do I control the Volume level?
A:
With the Mouse Wheel (if you have one!).
Q:
Where's the source, why is it not open-source?
A:
Because the code contains very rude comments.
Q:
Why did you write it?
A: I needed a usable player for local playback of FLV files.
Q: When I double-click a FLV while the player is already playing it, it doesn't open?!
A: Ask yourself why you want to play the same file?.
Q: Does it work on an Apple?
A: Maybe with "Virtual PC for Mac" installed, try it out, let me know.
Q: Where's the seekbar?
A: It will show automatically when playing a FLV1.1 file, not when playing a FLV1.0 file.
Click the i button and then repair metaData to upgrade your file to FLV1.1 :)
